Positions Vacant: WAREHOUSE/Store person

Absolute Mesh and Steel is a family -owned market leader in the supply of steel and mesh products to the Riverina. We supply materials to large scale contracts, local builders and domestic customers including steel, mesh, reinforcing products, electric gates, and fencing products.

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and versatile Warehouse team member to support our expanding operations. In this role, you will manage core warehouse tasks and assist with deliveries when needed, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safe operation of bending and cutting machines to fulfil orders

  • Picking and packing orders for delivery.

  • Loading and unloading stock as it arrives/departs.

  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

  • Providing assistance to other staff as directed

  • Deliveries when required.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse /manufacturing environment.

  • The ability to calculate order quantities, measurements etc. accurately and quickly.

  • Current forklift license essential

  • Ability to work with computer-based systems to manufacture items and cut to length etc.

  • The ability to pass a criminal history check as required by our customers.

  • HR License preferred.

The hours of work are 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday and regular overtime is available. Uniforms and PPE are provided. Experience within the steel industry is desirable but not essential- we hire on attitude and provide training for the right applicant.
